Overwhelming Support for the Series “When Light Fades” from Around the World

Kicking off the year with strong momentum, the series “When Light Fades” has officially surpassed 1 million views with the release of its Official Pilot.

The project is a collaboration between P.S. Performance, SONIX YOUTH 1999, and DEVA Art Theater Studio, with support from the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture, and THACCA. Directed by Chokanan Sakultham, this milestone marks a major first step and a powerful source of encouragement for the entire production team.

The Official Pilot has received global attention, drawing enthusiastic responses from Thai audiences as well as viewers across Asia, the Americas, and Europe. The video has been watched repeatedly and flooded with comments such as
“Beautiful visuals and great mood,”
“The male leads are handsome and charming, their chemistry is so soft and natural,”
“I’ve been waiting for Bas’s new work—when will it air?”
and “I can’t wait to watch it!!!”

Lead actors Bas Asavapatr Phonphiboon and Longchang Athip Korsin, along with the cast and production team, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support.

Bas, taking on his first full leading role, shared:

“When Light Fades” does not present political events as historical records, but instead tells the story through the bodies and hearts of human beings—people who must live within a system that does not allow them to feel.

The series has recently wrapped filming and is currently in the post-production editing process. Audiences can look forward to the story of “Comrade Yue” and “Comrade Saeng”, who must choose between ideology and love, amid the realities of war—coming soon.
